Francesc Mas de Xaxàs Faus is a composer currently studying Composition at the Fundació Conservatori del Liceu in Barcelona with Xavier Pagès-Corella. His work focuses on sound design, the exploration of instrumental colour, and the construction of complex timbral materials and structures, with particular attention to detail and sonic dramaturgy.In 2024, one of his works was performed at the Museu Picasso as part of an academic project. In 2025 he composed ENOUGH!, a work for ensemble featuring the accordion as the leading instrument.Before dedicating himself fully to music, he developed an international professional career as a consultant for 27 years. This background informs his structural thinking and contributes to a mature and rigorous compositional approach.
